Default POR 15 engine enamel
Can this be used on the valve covers too or is it too thick etc.?

I bought a 1-pint can and it is en route with the prep cleaner.

I painted mine a year ago with POR15 and they have held up nicely. (2-coats)

You can use it, but I don't know if it will come out very smooth if that is what you are looking for. I used POR15 black on my engine block and oil pan.
