LT4 rocker tick

Did hotcam tighted down rockers to 18lb/ft at according motor rotation spots. Do the stock rockers have a slight tick to them or should they be quiet...I'm not even sure its the rockers that are ticking sounds i put my head down by the valve cover and it sounds liek its coming from the top of the intake (but its not) is this just how the motor sounds i can't remember :confused:

You may be hearing the fuel injectors, they tend to be rather loud and mistaken for a ticking rocker.

When doing the hot cam on my LT4, I also replaced the valve covers with polished covers. Seems that the factory covers kept the ticking down a bit. The rockers on my car tick like crazy now. You can almost hear them inside the car.
