Default Wheel question.............

Putting new Firehawks on and, suprise! Found I had 9.5 stock wheels all round! Any thoughts from you guys on this? I thought I would have 8.5's on the front of my '95.

Thanks! :)

Not sure about 95, but my 93 Z07 has 9.5 wheels all around. I think the Z07's in 95 also had 9.5's and 275/40/17's all around. Is Z07 listed in your RPO's ?

I just looked it up. In 95 all Z07's had 9.5" wheels at all four corners.

HTRK, OK this is sounding good! Looked up Z07, super suspesnsion package! As stiff as mine is I am almost a believer. What can you tell me about the RPO, I am more than a little ignorant here, where is it and what should I look for?

Thanks bud!

If you look under your center console glove box lid there should be a list of RPO's. You will see Z07 and J55. J55 is the "big brakes" (13" rotors)packages that was automatically called for when Z07 was ordered. I'm assuming your car has the adjustable suspension (If it doesn't, then it's definately not a Z07).

Good call....I missed his sig. Hopefully the label under the glove box lid will help. On a 95, I believe it was actually in the box itself and not on the lid like my 93. You could always send away to NCM for your build sheet that would give you a definate answer as well. ;)

HTRK, the RPO sheet was under the lid behind the drivers seat. It has the FX3 Select Ride and Handling, FE7 High Performance Suspension, G44 3.07 performance ratio, J55 High Perfoamance Brake package, QA1 four 17x9.5 Aluminum sawblades, and (YES!) Z07 Adjustable Perforamnce Handling package!

What do you think?

I am grinning so hard it hurts!

:D :D :D :D :D

That's fantastic! I discovered mine had Z51 a few days after purchasing it. That was a pleasant surprise.

Now get out there and :steering:

Thats how I found out after I purchased my car. I knew it had FX3 and I was happy to find out Z07. I see it didn't take you long to update your sig ;) . Congrats on a fine purchase. Your car is one of 753 made in 95 with the Z07 package.

HTRK, thanks again! Say, where did you get the stats of the number of Z07 built in 95?

Not sure on the '95, but the Z07 option for '91 had:

Oil Cooler
Power Steering Cooler
Quick-Ratio Steering Box
J55 13" front brakes
Z51 Springs
30MM Front/26MM Rear sway bars
"Special" valved FX3 shocks

Congrats on the discovery. I guess that would be a nice surprise.

I ordered mine new that way.....
