Hey guys I need some help i recently fell in to an extra $2000.00 and I am looking for some advice on what to do to my 1995 LT1 Corvette. I am asking for performance advice so basically answer me with what would you do to your corvette with $2000.00. Any help is much appreciated.
Here's my .02 from everything Ive read on the forum.
1. Hotcam
2. 1.6 Roller rockers w/ LT4 springs
3. LT headers if you dont need CARB stuff
4. Good Catback System
5. Gears 3.54 - 3.73
6. TQ Converter
You wont be able to do it all for $2k, but can cover most of it especially if you do the install yourself (assuming that's what you were planning). Hopes that gets you started. You can also check out the sigs of some LT1 owners to see what they have done. Good Luck!
BTW, I dont own a LT1 so all of the above information is from reading the posts on the forum.
If you are running an auto you may want to get something milder than the hot cam unless you are going to get a higher stall torque converter and/or some BIG gears in the back. IMHO
