Hi to everyone,
After I installed the headers the rear fascia got stained (yellowish, especially near the exhaust area). I tried to wash it out but with no luck. I even tried bug/tar removal wax. Is there anything else that I can try? is painting my only solution at this point?
The best I have used to try to get stains out if paint is a product called "Harley Glaze" sold only in Harley stores and manaufactured by Harley Davidson
Another thing you may want to try is a clay bar.....Zaino has one and I think you can buy them from Mother's too.....they are said to remove all dirt and irregularities from paint......hope the discoloration didn't sink into your paint

Re: Rear Fascia Stains (Alex D)
I'd go with the clay bar as well...
I clay my car twice a year just before I wax it... On a white car you probably notice a lot of what appear to be rust spots on the paint... The clay will take them right off and will not scratch the paint...
I've had two white cars now that I've clayed and was very impressed with the results...
You can then try some glaze polish (Mother's or 3M are the best) and lightly buff the clear-coat to see if it is in just the top layers of the paint.
After that, a good coat of wax will go a long way to preventing that problem again. If it does it again, it would only need the wax removed and re-applied.
My tripple white picked up some stains and spots over winter; I just used a sample of IBIZ waterless wash & wax to remove them well. Prior to this product I have used Maguire's cleaner quite effectively.
