head bolts.
lost my pictures of the headbolts pattern due to a HD failure ( and alot more pictures aswell ) :(
Could anyone tell me what bolts goes where, i think its 3 diffrent lengh that goes in to the head.

I think....
Super short ones in the bottom row.
Medium ones in between the rockers.
Long ones everywhere else.
Here is a tip... every headbolt when you drop them into place (and don't thread them in) will stick out of the head the same amount from the head to the lip on the bolthead. So drop em' all in and if you see that the amount of space from the head to that lip is the same on all of them you've done good. :thumbs:
Super short ones in the bottom row.

Long ones everywhere else.

J C Whitney has a good video on how to rebuild your small block. I think it costs under $20 and covers everything in an easy to understand manner. It shows these bolts and is a nice reference to have in your shop! :thumbs:
