Default Code 32 again

Hi,
I got a code 32 again today driving on the highway. I replaced the switch once. What else should I check for other than vacuum leaks?

Check this link, scroll to "possible faults" for code 32, and see if it helps:

I noticed in your sig that you have a performance exhaust. I assume no cats or just a high flow main cat. I have the same issue and I believe it is EGR related. Seems that when we reduce the back pressure, the ECM has an issue with the EGR readings. I started getting it as soon as I completed my exhaust (see sig). Only appears at temps above 65 degrees and above 55 MPH. I never get it around town or during the winter. Since it dosen't appear to effect performance, I let it go. Really need to have a chip burned that will disregard the EGR.

I have a fairly hi-flow exhaust system that includes ported stock shortie headers and get no code 32.

It's very possible that your EGR valve is hanging up closed or at least not opening sufficiently, since the codes is thrown on the highway and not at startup.

The EGR can throw a code when its blocked, the switch/solenoid is bad, or even when your gas cap is loose.

The switch is new but I will double check my gas cap and use the site on troubleshooting it. If it doesn't clear up it's probally my exhaust. It doesn't seem to effect anything, just the check engine light. Thanks a lot everyone.

If the switch is new then, it is either the EGR valve itself or the connector that plugs into the EGR valve. I had to replace the connector on mine and I got it from Chevy for about $26.00
