well seeing as how my car has all of that minus 5 inches and a hotcam i would guess about 310-315 rear wheel..... just my two cents but probably a little bit more

Nate Plemons, has done some really good dynoing after a lot of his upgrades, I would try and check with him.

1.....vette lt1 with lt4 hot cam kit and basic ecm reprogram

~305 Rwhp, computed using 15% loss comes to about 358 flywheel.

2.....vette lt1 with lt4 hot cam kit and lt4 heads intake and 52 mm throttle body and basic ecm reprogram

330 rwhp with no head porting, computes to around 390 fwhp.

3.....vette lt1 355cubic inch with lt4 hotcam kit, lt4 heads, lt4 intake, 52 mm throttle body and basic ecm reprogram

Pretty much the same as #2 + ~5 rwhp.

Port the heads and these numbers all change for the better. You can add anywhere from 30-50 rwhp for ported heads depending on the port job.

thanks for the replies so far....i was just wondering. i read an article in chevy high performance a couple of years ago when they took a f-body lt1 and installed the hot cam kit, lt4 heads, lt4 intake, bbk 52mm and shorty headers and they claimed to get 425hp at the flywheel after ecm reprograming, and i wasnt sure how realistic those #'s were with that combo....my goal with this engine combo is 450-475 hp........thats still nice and drivable, id rather not go to stroking this particular build up...i have a sc 396 im building for my 72...id like to build a 355......who on here is making 450hp at the flywheel with a street happy 355 lt1 :chevy
