Another Fan / Tstat question
I saw this once in the archives but can't find it now, so I apologize if my question is another overdone repeat.
Would it serve any useful purpose if I left the stock tstat in place but modified the fan settings so they came on at a lower temperature? Or would the fans simply run forever due to the restrictive hi-temp tstat?
What I'm wanting to do is simply avoid those 200+ temps around town on warm days that are not hot enough to turn the A/C on and NOT lose the vette's heating ability during the cold winter months.

Since you already have a 180 stat in the LT1, go ahead.
On an L98, we have a 195, so we kinda have to change the stat or else the fans will be running all the time. I had reprogrammed fan settings and the stock stat for a couple weeks during summer, fans were on all the time but temperatures were in the 200-215 range.
