Yeah, cut the y-pipes and you can buy two length of stright pipe that will allow you to put a clamp on each end of the pipe.
Or you can buy the "off road" straight pipe kit that goes from the front to the rear mufflers from Ecklers its in their catalogs!

I am in a area with no inspections, but the shops do not want to remove them.
You just need to find a racer friendly shop and make sure you tell them it is a track only car. I have race pipes which I can drop and put aftermarket cats in for "the street" ;).
