Default LT4 thermo switch

Ok, so i spent about an hour reading through archived posts. The LT4 is running warm and it's not very warm out (only when sitting still of course). I can't find a thermoswitch that will work with my LT4 and I can't find any posts telling where to get one. Mid America has something that only is for 92-95 (apparently sets off codes on obdii).

All i want is a thermoswitch (on 195 off 185 - or so) that i can tie into the primary fan relay (which i will have trip the auxilary fan relay at the same time by doing a linemans splice on the relay trip wires). It just needs to ground the small green wire coming out of the fan #1 relay.. as far as I can tell looking at the schematic in my service manual. Is this correct?

So instead of spending $60-80 on a stupid kit, where do i get a thermoswitch that I can install myself for like $10-15?

Thanks!

The schematic is on page 6-158 Book 2 of the Service Manual. The description of this circuit is on page 6-639 Book 2 of the Service Manual.

It looks like grounding fan relay #1 should put fans on low speed.

What is controlling your fans now??? Have you reprogrammed for 160 stat??

What do you mean by warm??? Have read my post on HPP & coolant temps?
