315 tires
OK guys I posted this in the wheel/tires section but didnt get a lot of feeback so I thought I would try here.
I just order a set of chrome zr1s for my 92 and need to wrap them with some tires without taking out a loan. :D
I would like to hear some opinions on what tire to use and who has the best deals.
Also, I see that Ecklers carries a 315 in the Nitto 555r. Does anyone use them?? If so how do they corner on the street???

You are going to get different opinions on tires. Just as long as you got at least 11" for the rear if you are thinking 315's.......I just put new OEM 315's tires on the rear with 17 x 11 wheels. Got them from the Tire Rack.

If you are looking for the cheapest 315 tire, the last time I checked the BFG Drag Radial was 1/2 the cost of Michelin Pilot Sports. For reference, I'm on my second set of Pilot Sports. The rears were a whopping $340 each mounted & balanced. The Drag Radial was designed for straight-line, dry performance, but thought I'd throw it out there in case you're a drag racer.
