NEW 383 INSTALLED
It has been about 5 months now but I finally can drive the car everyday. Just curious what you all think about the performance.
It ran a 12.6-12.7 on good tires (but still a 1.95 60 foot)at 3000 feet with a 35 MPH head wind. Normalized it is a 12.2ish but i think it can break 12 back down at see leval with good tires.
It is a 92 6 speed with

Hotcam (i know i know not the best but man does this thing spin up)
Stock ported heads
52mm Throttle body
30LBS SVO's
Shortie headers
Dome forged pistons
6" Eagle forged rods
Scat Forged crank

Not bad to me.
I hope I can run 12's at LACR with my combo as it sits now (stock TPI, mild ported heads, Scat 3.75 crank with 6" rods, LPE211/219 cam, and no pulleys cept alternator).
Practice should bring you down some.
