having trouble with my motor, upgrading to 383 looking for advise where to purchase a stroker kit. please give a price range and place recommended, i'm from alex va, ( winter project ) :skep: 13.09 @ 106 mph thanks

Personally i would just sit with a Summit catalog and pick and choose parts.
But Summit does offer a kit for a 383, fair priced.

http://www.flatlanderracing.com/ has been mentioned on this forum before with positive results. You should give them a call before ordering parts, I've heard they are very helpful.

Have you had any problems with your crank? I want to use the 9000 series with a 100-150 shot of (NOS :lolg: ) nitrous.

I've had TONS of problems.... cuz i don't have that engine anymore :sad: I totalled the car in August, which is why i have a completely stock LT4 now.
Yeah, i had the 9000 series cast crank. I wasn't intending on putting NOS on there though. If you're doing NOS, i would go ahead and get the steel crank. If you're spending that much $ on the engine, no reason in the main part breaking because it's not strong enough.
Without NOS, that setup worked great... had SOOOO much torque :reddevil :reddevil :reddevil :reddevil
