I would like to know how many Technical Bulletins were issued for the 1984 Corvette. These highly detailed bulletins provided unique instructions to the dealership mechanics - often including specialized diagrams - that were unavilable from any other source, I have been told. I have quite a few of them; but, I'd like to assemble a complete set.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. I'm willing to prepare a list of the ones that I have.
I have the TSB's on a computerized service program. I did a quick search on the 84 corvette and found 386 of them. They won't download so I don't know how I could get them to you.
If you need a specific one, I would be happy to send.
You can read the titles at http://www.alldata.com. If you want to read them, there's a fee. Some are meaningless. Others involve manual/production changes and procedures for problems encountered in the field.
JIM: I'm grateful; it's truly most kind of you. I hope that I will be able to return the favor someday. But, Holy Mackeral!! I'm stunned. When I bought the car, and brought it into the dealership for the odd repair now and then, I managed to beg-&-plead one or two of the "Tech Sheets" from them. I've got - I don't know - maybe 10-15 of 'em. But there were 386 all totalled?? Amazing!! Do you happen to know where that (386) fits - as an average - compared to other model-years?? Thanks again. I'll be in touch.
