Don't let the Cal libs see this or we are all in trouble
It seems Lady Bird Jonhson was a Texan & she made it her buisness to
rid the country side of many fine old cars!
I'd like to hear this story...there are ALOT of really nice old American cars (gas guzzlers) at the LBJ ranch in Johnson City, Texas.
Regardless...this bill gives in an inordinate amount of power to the neighborhood associations that rule the Houston area. I take good care of my house, and I am proud of it, and my neighborhood. My neighbors have commented that they can't believe I pick up all my tools and clean up at night only to start the same job (with the same tools) the next morning. I do it to keep the area nice, I have respect for them. I will not allow restrictions to my legal activities at my home to be jeopardized by some neighborhood association. I don't mind them restricting un-registered or un-inspected vehicles on the streets, but in garage that's none of their business. Same with working on them...if I create a nuisance by leaving a half-assembled vehicle in plain view then shame on me...but I had better be able to do what I want within my garage, or back yard..
If you don't know the issue shut the hellup. I have read the legislature and contacted my rep...have you??
