1) What torx size is the trottle blade adjustment screw on a '95 Lt1?
2) HOW do you get to it w/o removing the throttle body?
I just put a 90' bend in a T-15 driver, in an attempt to adjust the blades a bit (have a slight split BLM problem, and IAC seems low...less than 10 at warm idle), but either T-15 is not correct, or I'm still not getting to the screw straight-on??? I wanted to adjust w/ engine running and look at data as I'm doing it, but intake and throtle cable bracket seem to be getting in my way :banghead:
Re: Torx size for throttle blade adjustment..??? (DR'76)
Try torx wrenches shapped like an allen key. Each one is the diameter of the torx head so you can get deep into the bore. On my 86 the screw is pretty deep in the bore so a torx bit in a screwdriver handle may get too fat too fast and not fully reach the screw.
