Go look for a post in the "Drag Racing" section. A fella by teh name of Arnie, knows someone sho is making them. They will cost around $300 I believe.

The ruling I got from an NHRA tech at Memphis last year was that the C4's IRS are viewed differently than the previous gen's IRS'. They are "contained" units that do not stand much of a chance of coming out. The C2/3 are not like that, their halfshaft is actually the retaining link for the wheel and if it breaks the wheel comes off; not so on the C4's. The halfshaft on the C4's also sits inside the rear knuckle and is surrounded by the rear suspension components which in themselves act as somewhat of a retainer as well... I wish I'd have gotten a written ruling from him, but according to what he said they approve the C4's IRS to under 9.99...
