Default Transmission Shift Firmness Option Question

Hello, I have a 94 auto and using the Hypertech III Plus programmer i changed the shift firmness in the transmission. Does this hurt anything? I can feel the difference in the shifting, it is quicker and more firm, But will it do any damage to the tranny? :steering:

no, it should not.

Actually, this is a NECESSARY option when using a higher stall Torque converter.

The factory sets the shift time at approxamatly 3/4 seconds. This is a comprimise between "comfort" and performance.

go for it.
