Anyone had this problem
Was doing some tuning on my car today and I logged the run onto my hard drive came home to analyze it and my tach which is the digital tach that came in the car gets way slow under hard acceleration.
The ecm shows rpm to be about 1000 rpm higher.
If I run the rpm up in neutral and hold it steady at any rpm the tach and the ecm agree but in gear when I get on it the tach can't keep up.
Looks like I'm in the market for a new tach.

I believe that's a common problem with the digital tach. As well as the bars not showing the same as the numbers. It just becomes more noticable in a modified car.
