Car is running like crap, could anyone interpret this and tell me why
Here is the story of what is happening:
Car is fine for a few minutes after the first start of the day. After that, everytime I try to start, it takes a few times. While driving if I give it a blip of throttle, it dies. Car runs rough the whole time, and doesn't feel normal.
I changed the pump, and plugs out and it runs better, but still not great.
Under the View menu on the main Datamaster window, there is a 'DTC Codes' menu item. That will pop up a matrix with the set codes in red - if you click the cells that are red, Datamaster will tell you what it has for that code.
OK, I just did that on my copy of Datamaster and it gives a MIL lamp fault for code 11.
I don't suppose you'ver chased all your grounds down have you? Maybe there's a loose ground at the ECM... or elsewhere
Well, I'd love to take a look at it, but don't expect any miracles, this stuff is pretty new to me as well. I've been introduced and immersed in it as a trial by fire if you know what I mean.
I think my O2s are fine, the mV jumps around, so I think they are giving the ECU a signal. My MAF should be fine, maybe there is just a ground off somewhere. I did just have the tranny worked on, maybe they left something ungrounded.
hmmmm, I'm wondering why both your fans are on even when the coolant temp is under 150 degrees. Custom program?
You're also running the definition for an F-body?
Right around rec 1451 the cat overheats, not the following, but the next acceleration burst your knock counts go out of control and that's what's causing the spark retard.
Have you checked fuel pressure?
How many miles on the injectors? Run red line through at all?
How about the cat?
I'll keep looking, but that's all that jumped out at me.
You can change the program to Y car, I just think I recorded it in F car. I don't think it makes much difference.
I have no cats, so they can't overheat.
knock counts are due to my straight pipes(no cats, no mufflers)
It's not the injectors, I just changed them out and it runs the same with either set. I don't have a fuel press gauge. I just changed out the fuel pump and it runs a whole lot better, but still kind of bad.
I redlined it close to the end, it was in 3rd gear I think. Or if you're asking about redline fluid, no I don't run that.

That explains the spark retard, no?

You appear to be running generally lean (high blm counts,) that says fuel pressure or clogged injectors first. What did you do with your O2 sensors when you eliminated the cats (there is one after the cat in 94, isn't there?)
The one after the cat is not used for anything related to the ECM, it is just there for OBDII testing.
I have all 3 O2's in my headers.
I'm thinking that something went wrong when I took my tranny in to get worked on. It is actually when I started noticing it. I will go back and have them check all connections.
Custom program in the ECU, but not to turn the fans on that early. I have them both set to come on at 185degF. I did notice they were turning on almost as soon as I turned on the car, that is due to some code I think, or it being in open loop.
Okay, I can't answer all your questions, but I can tell you some things not to worry about as they are nomal. First, when you hook up the Data Master, it's NORMAL for the top left light in the DIC to come on. I believe that would be your Service ASR you mentioned. As long as it goes out when you disconnect, you shouldn't have anything to worry about there. I was going to say it's normally for the fans to come on as well, but I'm can't remember if it does that with Data Master or not. I know it turns them on when you go to upload or download to the computer, so I'm thinking Data Master would turn them on as well.
