Default COLD AIR KITS?!?!

I've found 2 different cold air systems so far:

the Vortex Rammer, and the SLP Cold Air kit that uses 3 K&N filters.

Which one should I go with? Or is there any better systems out there? and where are the best prices? Any help would be GREAT!

I would suggest that you save your money and do the cut lid mod, you will get the same gains from a CAI and save your money for something else. Use the search feature to find out all you will need to know about this mod. Here is the link to the tech tip

The SLP is not a cold air kit, it still draws air from inside the engine compartment.

Personally I like my Vortex air intake.. anytime you pull in cooler air is a good thing.

:iagree: Cooler is better. As for the cut lid mod ...yes it's the same. Cut your own and save the bucks.
