85 burn off MODULE failure

85 burn off MODULE failure
anyone have any insight into this, I have it tracked down to the module, any good source for this part, has anyone repaired the circuit boards. Any help is appreciated. I'm sure some of the EE guys have some knowledge on a fix???thanks again.

I saw them in the TPIS catalogue, near the back. I'm pretty sure ours is located above and to the passenger side of the ECM. I'm gonna change the relay and burn-off modules soon. :seeya

frank if this is the same thing i replced you better get a big check book out!! dont want to scare you but mine cost me almost 500 bucks :eek: and it is located behind the bread box on the passenger side it was a pain to get to but simple to change jus plug and play i hope this help you. The one i bought was a borg/warner from pep boys so they may be cheaper now this was 3 yrs ago JAY

Check ebay or salvage yards. If GM even still sells them, they are HUGE money. I've got one but I'm not willing to part with it.
I've seen them go very cheaply on ebay though. You can also get one out of an 85 TPI f-body.
