I apologize, I didn't know where to post this question. I would just like to know if a compressor with a 2 lb. tank and max 125 psi will operate air tools.
Thanks
How many gallons does a 2LB tank translate to? I ran a die grinder off a 4 or 5 gallon (I think) Cambell Housfeld. I would have to wait and let the tank fill up ever minute or two though with continuous use. I now have a 80 gallon Craftsman that has no problem keeping up with anything I throw at it.
The lower storage capacity is good for short burst tools (nailers). If you're going to use impact wrenches, air ratchets, etc., I'd get at least a 20 gallon tank. That's what I use and when using the ratchet, it kicks on quite often but I'm never waiting on it.

Re: Quick Air Tool Question?? (CG77VETTE)
 Storage tank and PSI are not the only questions, which I have learned to my chagrin. Compressor CFM is most important. I am looking to move up to atleast a 15cfm to support air tools without having to stop to wait for compressor to catch up
Tools like air hammer & ratchet yes, grinder and other more continuous stuff , the rpms will eventually slow down & you have to wait. I have one & it's ok for weekend stuff but would not use it for hard core job or daily use. Got at Costco.
