No you cannot use the stock springs. TPiS has springs they prescribe for all of their cams.

Add another no to stock springs. Since you're using a ZZ4 cam on the alum 113 heads, why not use the entire valve train as the ZZ4.

GM sells it all. If you need p/n's let me know.

Are you planning on using stock chip?

Any recommendations for good chip to work with ZZ4 cam?

Yep, thats them. Also get the following

10212809 - Va;ve Spring Shim LT4
12495492 - Valve Spring Cap Kit LT4
12495503 - Valve Spring Keys

The cam will run fine with the stock chip, it might be a little choppy in open loop but then it settles down. I'm getting ready for a chip now, but I've already went with a ported plenum, big mouth base and large tube runners.

You need to check the size of the spring seats on your heads.
As far as I am aware, most early L98 heads (113 & 128) only had 1.25" spring seats. the same as ZZZ-ZZ2 engines. Later heads had the 1.32" (ZZ4/LT4) spring seats. Can anyone else confirm this?

Aluminum 113 Heads do have 1.32 spring seats. Its the head the ZZ4 uses as are all the components previously listed. Is the 128 an iron head ?
