Default SR + Direct Port Nos

I'm planning on plumbing my SuperRam with direct port NOS foggers. Have any of you done this? I'm thinking about putting them in the runners. It would make taking the valve covers a little more time consuming, but not a big deal. Any pictures or ideas would be very helpful.

Some have done it and I plan on doing it if I ever get around to building a forged engine for my car. The best way to do it is to weld a bung to the outside of the runners to give you more thread area for the fittings to grab onto.

I picked up a set of runners that were tapped for it. I also have the fogger nozzles.

Right now I have them plugged.
The original owner tapped a bead of weld on the inside and outside to give it more stability.

I went in and removed the inside bead.

I've done it on a couple of SR setups and a couple of lg. tube runner setups. They're really not thick enough to do it without adding some material as Bill said. I TIG welded some 3/8" aluminum disks to the runners and tapped them, that way there was plenty of material.

Another note on this. Apparently a lot of people have had problems with the TPI plate systems on the SR starving the rear cylinders. I had a plate on mine and didn't notice any problems but I also used an EGT in #7 to tune with and I never let it get too hot...

I'm planning on running a 300 shot, so the plate is out of the question.

Yes...The plate is definitely out of the question...I've run a 200 shot on a 5151 plate before (even though NOS says you "can't"). But, I run a EFI converted Super Victor single plane with a NX Gemini Twin plate on it now...
