Im using hedman headers whitout the the little EGR pipe that goes into the manifold. Im thinking of remove the entire EGR ( the AIR pump is away ), this will clean up the engine bay further..
What else is involved?
What about the censor under the TB should I disconnect that to? Or leave everything like it is and only block off the plate in the manifold?
I know about the chip.
After the supercharger install, headers, and MiniRam intake I have nothing left of the EGR system. Right now I still have the stock prom with no codes being set. All my sensor connectors are disconnected and sealed to prevent moisture and corrosion in them.
I guess what I'm trying to say is go ahead and disconnect everything associated with the EGR system.
Lets see....
EGR solenoid-RH front of engine near front of valve cover
EGR diagnostic switch-RH rear of engine near distributor
AIR divert valve-front of engine above water pump
Air select/switching valve-front of engine above water pump
I think thats all thats associated with the EGR system that I removed.
