I have a whine in the speakers. I'm going to take them out for repair. I read a while back about several of you guys had them upgraded with higher amps. Some place in Florida did them, I think? Boosted amps to 75 or 100?
Are the front speakers as hard to remove as I've heard? Are there any tricks to doing it?
3. Install good aftermarket head unit and speakers
4. Wonder why you didn't do this sooner
There ya go, problem solved
That is very sound advice. While you are at it get a head unit that plays MP3's. They can be had for under $200 now and you can fit a ton of songs on a disk. I just stuck a sony head, clarion 4 channel amp and pioneer speakers in my coupe and that thing really ROCKS.
