A weak battery gave me a rough-low idle, and my dashboard would flicker now and then. I'd imagine a poor battery connection would affect performance also. :seeya

I would like some other advice and IF There IS a performance loss with worn / poor battery connection.

Yes the ECM would revert to it's base program and would have to relearn its new "curve" as the voltage is low or the connection it bad , aint computers great!

If the alternator does all his work..... The ECM really needs voltage from the battery???
