"B Trim" 6-8 psi blower
Hi,
J have a chance to buy a supercharger kit that is purchased from Carroll about 7 yers ago,
It has been sitting on a C4 89 auto, that was stock exept from headers.
The kit is for a for a C4 Corvette 99 and is called "B Trim" 6-8 psi blower
and came with water injection.
The name and serial number of the blower unit is V1-B 02675.
He bought the kit with a specific chip for his L98 auto 89 from Carroll
and the question is can I use that chip with mine C4 L98 auto 86?
Probably not..? I know there is some differences betwen the C4 L98 86 and C4 L98 89 roller cam etc. :confused:

I have no experence with the carroll system but since they didn't use intercooling they use water injection instead so the only reason for the chip would be to retard the timming. If it were me I would give them a call. Did you get the water injection with the blower????

Yes the water injection comes with the blower and there
is an uppgrade from vortech availible to the S or R trim..! :)
But its about 800 $ just to the S trim :cry
