Does any one have install directions for this ? I bought it from Corvette Cental but they didn't send instructions .Want to put it in soon, all help is greatly appreciated Thx  :yesnod:
1 disconnect battery negative lead
2 remove main battery lead connector
3 remove voltage regulator connector
4 remove two bolts in front of alternator
5 remove brace bolt
6 wiggle alternator out of place
It has a whole other battery connector with it do I use it? and if I do how do I get the old one out and the new one in it looks like it is taped up doidn't know if I had to cut it apart?!
Does the connector look exactly like the one on the car? If so just clean up the one on the car. Usually the terminals become oxidized and they include it for "while your there" moments. Or it may be if you plan to upgrade the size of the battery wire. What are the plans for the car to move up to 140?
Is this just a replacement or meant to upgrade for newer electrical needs? If its not broke don't fix it UNLESS there is something else you have in mind to make it better........ :yesnod:

But if it is the same I will leave well enough alone!!!! :chevy
When you say 140 amp alternator I'm assuming you are upgrading to the LT1-4 alternator, as the L98 units are 105 amps. If thats the case here's a link that gives the specifics of the conversion. https://www.corvetteforum.com/techti...=189&TopicID=2
