Default AIR delete and catalytic question

Now that I have no AIR stuff and added the Hooke Headers, should I cap the hole that the catalytic converter has on the side that attaches to the AIR line?

Cap it otherwise exhaust will blow out of it.

Can I use a rubber cap or will it melt? Any suggestions?

Go buy some hose made for this, any good parts place has it, and stick a bolt in one end and use two clamps, one to secure the bolt and the other the hose to the cat.

I did this before...just put a fat bolt into the rubber connecter and 2 small clamps and it never leaked.
