Drag guru's...step inside.
At a test and tune session, if I am paired with a car running open exhaust, will my knock sensors detect that noise as "knock" when we take off? I was told this could happen. :confused:

I ran my 96 for a hot rod event with open headers, and have done scans while tuning and never had the knock sensor go....sounds like :bs to me.....but I have heard of some weird stuff happening....

It shouldn't affect your car unless you get paired up with a maybe a super-comp. A T/F would probably trigger knock sensors out in the parking lot. :lolg:

Yeah, yeah that's it.
Everytime I line up against one of those cars that makes my car shake every time he revs his engine I lose. The knock sensors must be the problem. :eek:
