lt1 tps vs tpi tps
Hope this is not wasting your time.
I don't have an LT1 car but the TPS LOOK the same.
5 volts is a standard TTL (transistor-transistor logic level) used in the ECM.
(TTL logic levels have been used for YEARS...nothing new)
There would be no need to change this for the LT1 MPFI.
The TPS is a simple mechanical 'volumn control' device. A 'potentiometer' to be exact.
One lead goes to ground, one to +5 volts and the center lead is the reference signal (DC Voltage) to the ECM.
So, my 'uneducated' guess sez it will work perfectly.
What about the IAC? That's a different type of device.
Are the plugs the same for it? Again there's a 95% chance it will work, also.
It is just providing a calibrated 'air leak'.
As fo the IAC, there was some different designed IACs from the earlier years, however operationally they are the same as is voltage levels to the IAC. Worse case scenario is to have to splice in a conector for a later model IAC. Just match the wire colors as that hasn't changed in the last few years.
You will have to plug high vacuum port on the TPI throttle body and figure out linkage geometry.
