Default lt1 with msd, having problems

my problem is that the tach is dropping to 0 when i mash on the gas. in the msd book they say to by-pass the tach filter which i have located. it has two white wires and one black. how is it by-passed with three wires? does anyone have experience with this problem. msd tech has not got back to me yet and i am going nuts with the tach jumping all over the place. :steering:

Just cutt off the 2 white wires and reconnect them tegether without the black box. You all set to go.

Ya like Brucw says, splice the two white wires together before the box.I left the black wire still hooked up to the box.You may also notice your asr light on.

Do you have the MSD wiring harness as well? I can't remember the part number but it costs around $28 from Summit. Mine didn't work until the wiring harness was installed...
