Power seat ?

Will power seat tracks from an 89 work in my 86? Is there a difference in connectors or is the assembly completely different? Thanks

I THINK the later ones can be made to fit with a connector change... but I am not 100% sure of that...

:iagree: Bogus is right, I did it a year or two ago on my '87 with a replacement track from an early 90s I think. Anyway, the connectors were different, so I spliced in my old one on the new track, and it works fine.

I did a photo journal and put it on Yahoo, here's the link........... Sorry, it doesn't cover the wiring aspect, just the steps to R&R. Good luck, it's really pretty straightforward!
