The factory service manual has instructions for replacing the top in section 10C. They are pretty good. Also, the June '96 issue of Corvette Fever has instructions on replacing a top. I compared both, and they are similar except for a few things. The big thing is to glue the rear rails last. The rail that goes along the back of the door glass. Use those to align and center the top, then glue the rear bow, and the #1 bow. After those are Good and stuck on, go back and glue the rear rails in place and put the retainer strips in.

My scanner isn't working right now so I can't copy the magazine or manual, but maybe someone else here has them.

Also, don't forget to order new weatherstrip. The old stuff most likely will be ruined removing the top plus it will look nicer.

Well - my weatherstrip is in absolutely perfect shape.. Wouldn't want to spend money on replacing a perfectly fine weatherstrip...

Hopefully you can get it off in one piece. The guys in Bowling Green like that weatherstrip adhesive.

I will try to get it off... I wonder if there's some kind of weatherstrip remover...
