275/45/16 Tire?

275/45/16 Tire?
Ok, a 275/40 tire fits on a 17x9.5, and a 255/50 fit's on a 16x9.5, i've been looking but I can't find a 275 tire for a 16x9.5. Is this because it's too wide with too much tire wall or am I just not looking hard enough. heck, a 255 fits on a 16x8.5.

I enquired in the UK about this size tyre some years ago. I found a supplier who listed them by the manufacturer Hankook. (I think they are Korean).
When I enquired again they were no longer available. This brand name may be a lead for you to try in the US. Good Luck! If you find any, let us know.
