oil leak
FYI - I've lived with a slight oil leak on the bottom side of my 1990 L-98. I'm pulling stuff off/out to swap engines. When I removed the damper bolt, behind the washer was soaked with fresh oil. Bingo. "FYI"

Hmm... For it to get there, it'd have to leak across the crank's keyway right?
Seems like anything leaking from the front main wouldn't get past the backside of the hub without getting spun off. What do you think?

My thought was it's the 50 cent front seal in the timing chain cover. Yea, which the engine's spinning that'd be true. When it's sitting it could drain all the way to the back of the damper bolt/washer.
