30# injectors

Just wondering whats everybodies opinion on injectors. Ive been looking at some SVO but are there any problems with these? Also what about bosch or accel. thanks

What makes you think you need 30lb injectors?

Accel has had many quality issues, stock Bosch stuff is just fine, and the SVOs will work for us. The SVOs are rated at a different psi than GM stuff, so you may want an AFPR and turn the pressure down to help the computer compensate if you get a size bigger than stock.

I got a 383 with bolt ons and im going to install my nos kit so i want more fuel and air.

I'm running the 30# SVO injectors on my blown 350. No negative issues to report. Most positive is the price.

Your gonna want to run a wet shot if you run nitrous, so injector size is really not that big of a concern. Use the SVO 24#ers and you will have plenty of injector.

On my 383 the Accell 30# injectors are a little big. Although I've lowered the pressure a bit, the idle quality isn't there with the accells. The SVO 24# will rate as a 28# accell, so the SVO'smay be my next bet.
