89' Diag. Code HELP
This might should have been OT, but I am in a pinch. I have an 89' GMC pickup truck this is not running well. I cannot find my shop manual but I was able to desyphire the diag. code. The fault code is "4-2". I believe that all of GM used the same format that year. Can someone tell me what that failure code is for, or direct me to a site were I can get it?

1. a faulty ignition module
2. a faulty connection/ground between the ignition module and the four-wire connector
3. a faulty ECM
4. a Mem-Cal (chip) not fully seated in the ECM.
