Engine VIN Question
Trying to verify VIN on my engine. The darn ignition coil in the way. All I can see is VO275ZUC. Is the VIN ahead of that and how can you see it with out removing the coil? Thanks.

On my '96 I removed the coil when I was doing some work and the actual VIN was not stamped anywhere on the pad. Not sure if others have been able to find a VIN or not on the engine. If you get a Corvette Black Book, the number stamped on the pad corresponds to engine type, plant manufactured and date of manufacture.

Maybe that's why I couldn't find it. I thought maybe someone had changed the motor or something. By the way, MVCC is hosting a corvette show at Clements Chev in Mankato on 6/28. Would be nice if you could make it. No cost and plenty of trophys.
