Camber brace users.....stop by
I'm considering the camber brace for my car. The question, because it's "boxing" in the camber assemblies does the car need to be realigned once it is installed????? Or is it just bolt on and plug and play? Let me know and thanks

It doesn't change your alignment. It prevents/reduces front-end flex and maintains the alignment you have. Specifically keeps the negative camber you are running from decreasing during hard turn-in. Bolt it in, shim to eliminate any gaps, tighten, have fun

Get it!! You'll be glad you did! Like was said, no alignment is needed. Dave at R-D Racing is great to deal with.

Just make sure that biznitch is TIGHT. Mine came loose and cost me $15.00 in a shim pack.
Hearing the tink-tinkle of parts dropping out of your engine bay onto the pavement is a disconcerting sound.

The short answer is no. The long answer is still no. It's not required. I chose to install mine before my annual 4 wheel alignment.

Just installed one over the weekend.
Went in easy enough. Just make sure you have a grinding wheel handy. The brace needed a little grinding on the bottom of the plate to clear one of the frame bolts.
Have not test drove it yet.

  That's the very first time I've heard of having to grind anything on the brace!!! Can you elaborate on where you had to grind it and where it had to clear? Take some pictures too!!
BTW, that brace is steel. I hope you repainted it so it doesn't begin to rust.

That's a new one for me as well. Haven't heard of someone having to grind to install.

not the shims it was the corner of the plate. once I ground off about 1/8" it fit fine. It still needed to be shimmed.
