bolt holes would not line up without the grinding. mostly on the left side. it was the bottom corner of the plate where it meets the frame bolt. the ground spot is hidden from sight after installation.

not the shims it was the corner of the plate. once I ground off about 1/8" it fit fine. It still needed to be shimmed.
