84 headlight prob help!!!!!

84 headlight prob help!!!!!
ok my 84 lights suck well the passanger side works fine. but on the driver side well i have to do the manual thing wehre it lifts it up and when i want to set it back i put in the power to the moter and it rotates back to the normal spot. but its like the motar works and all but it wont work when i pull the switch to come on just the right one does.
if i really did not make things clear i use the manual turn **** under the left light and to rotate it back i pulg the motar connecter back in and it rotates it back under the hood
so is it my motar going waht can it be
cuz it really sucks when its gettin dusk i gotta pull over and do the light
is there some thing i can do to fix this

It probably is the motor,for free you can take it apart & see if you find a contact burned or something,Or you can buy one from ecklers or a junk yard or wherever.
Or you could convert the whole thing to the 88 style.
