Just had the SRC light pop up on my 92. Pulled the code and it was a 32- RF shock time out.
I removed the actuator and found parts of the little shock gear at the bottom of the cup. The bottom portion of the gear is broken but all of the teeth on the gear are intact and it's even still attached to the shock shaft which turns easily. The little pin is still in place through the gear and shaft but the shaft just turns without hitting a stop. And this just before I leave for Bowling Green :mad
Is there any way to determine the shock setting if the shaft rotates freely? Does the shaft turn clockwise or counter-clockwise to set at the touring position? I really don't want to have to replace the shock and may not even be able to find one in the couple days I have before leaving.

Re: FX3 Code 32 ARGHHHH (c4cruiser)
You need to set it to firm. The system is designed to where if it senses a fault, it defaults to firm. This was done for safety if somebody is doing a high speed run, they will have a somewhat firmer suspension.
If i remember, full right is firm (counter clockwise), soft is left (clock wise)
Unfortunately, the part of the gear that broke is the lower part that has the detent stop on it. So the shock shaft is easily turned by grabbing the upper part of the gear, but it doesn't stop at any point. I would think that the range of adjustment when everything is working properly is less than a full turn and probably about a half-turn so it would be pretty hard to find a particular shock setting.
I did unplug the actuator so it won't keep spinning the gear.
