Default Professional Grade Help Needed!!!!!!

I have added a blower to my 92 vette. I have got it running but need help to fine tune it. The blower is suppose to be 6 lbs of boost, but I thank it ended up being closer to 10 lbs. Also I was told that reprogramming for a bar 2 map sensor was to much troulbe so I moved the old map sensor to in front of the blower. But now I beleave the vacuum is higher. It's not running that bad but it does have a few bugs and it is running rich.

Well any help someone can give would be very helpful!!!

Here is a couple of scans using Datamaster and the bin that I am running now! http://www.users.conninc.com/knight/Scans&Bin.zip

Hopefully your help will smooth out my ride and help me to learn how to smooth it out myself next time!!!!!!

You moved your MAP sensor to the front of the blower? Do you mean that you moved it to the suction side? If that is what you mean it won't work there. I assume that the throttle body is in its original location, the blower discharge is connected to the TB right?

If thats true the MAP will not work in that location. It should be connected to the intake plenum as where GM originally located it. The MAP sensor still has to sense vacuum under cruise and no load conditions where u are not under boost or positive pressure. Even though it is not a 2 BAR Sensor it still needs to read what the manifold pressure is regardless if it goes positive which in that case it will just read 100kPA anyway.

Default Re: Professional Grade Help Needed!!!!!! (DOCTOR J)

I about the confustion but I was just wanting them to tell me where to look! It doesn't matter what the design is to tell me to look at VE vs RPM vs MAP.

Thank for the help but I have figured it out and and tuned it this past weekend. But To answer you question. I put a root 671 blower on a ls1 350, with the injector relocated to a plate above the blower a the a plantum for a holley ram air with the stock throttle body if front. I move the MAP sensor to the plantum so that it wouldn't see pressure just vacuum, but have put a vacuum guage on the plentum and manifold. there was only a couple of bls different so I moved it back to the manifold. It seems to be working there for now but hopefully this weekend (weather related) I will re do the tables for a 2 bar map sensor.
Hope this answered you questions, and I didn't mean to sound difficult, I just was wanting someone to answer a straight forward answer to a straight foward question!

P.S. what are you referring to as a spill-back valve?
