What rpm's are you guy or girls turning with the 4.09, 4.10, or 4.11 rearends in 6th gear at 60mph. Thanks trying to figure what it is like at freeway speeds.
I'm turning 2000 rpm at 75 mph in 4th OD (.68 od, 3.07 rear end)... so if I put in 4.11s, i'd be at 2700 rpm.
I think that's manageable, just not for long trips. It'd probably keep you out of trouble and going the speed limit, 65 or so. :yesnod:
:nono:
In 6th gear @ 75mph I am barely turning 2K with 4.11's in my Vette. It is nice and quiet.... Hell I don't even bother going into 6th until after 70 because it feels so sluggish. After 80, 6th seems to gain some "ooomph".

:yesnod: that's the beauty of having the ZF6...6th is 0.5:1. At 70mph, I turn ~1800rpm in 6th. Very liveable on a long drive.

I drive cross-country (Phoenix to Boston and back) at least twice a year and I have 4.09 gears in my 6-speed. They are perfect! At 80mph I'm at about 2100rpm in 6th. Thhis makes 6th gear actually useable now. Like many others have said, these gears should have come stock ont he car.

 I didn't know that. I guess that'd be a good excuse for the cops. Well officer, I had to keep it up over 90 mph to keep the car from stalling! :D

I just ordered a set up from Dino's for 1000.00, but alot of guys say they got theirs for 850.00 for the complete set up. Don't think they deliver to Sweden though. There is a how to in the tech tips section
Thanks everyone you gave me the answer I was looking for. 6th gear is so tall I figured it would not be too bad. Besides my vette is my toy. I have other vehicles for daily transportation. Thanks
