crazy knocks.
This is my hotcamed TPI.
I get ALOT of knocks from 1100-2200rpm. Abow 2300rpm no knoks even at WOT. ITs more when its warm vs cold.
Base timing @ 6
I have backed the main spark advance in that area 10 degrees! No diffrent
The car runs great.
My thoughts.
Could something rattel in that rpm range?
Bad lifter that needs more oilpressure ( more rpm ) to be silence?
Pistonslap?
Engine mounts?
How should I locate it?
Im sure its not the timing, but mechanical :(
ANd if i reeve the engine when in neutral i get the same knocks between 1100-2300rpm.. ANd bow nothing :( straaaaaange
