Default Calloway Supernatural LT1

a local Chevy dealer recently began advertising a 92' Calloway Supernatural LT1 Vette. its got 11k on it and they claim the mods are good for 400hp. anyone know what Calloway did to these Supernatural LT1 cars (perfomance mods as well as anything else?), and if there 26k asking price is fair? thanks in advance

the CallAway Supernatural consisted of porting work and cam. There were different levels of power from the "SNAT" cars. I believe it was 435hp, and 450hp...there might have been a 400hp level, Im not sure.

Does the car have a stock body or is it Callaway Aerobody? 26 sounds like a decent price.

the website didnt list what power levels they had... but it was an interesting read. so LT1 Supernaturals are 383s, very cool!

im not sure if the body is the aero version or not... im going to look at it today, and ill post more info when i get it

Callaway is out of the TT business. The car is alot more involved than just the motor and turbos. The frame is actually modified to use as an air intake, and many of the pieces on the car are one off's. Thats why Callaway never sold a kit, actually they sold only one, but it was never put in a Vette. It sold on ebay about 3 months ago. The only way to get a Callaway is buy one.

The Supernatual series was either the CL1 or CR1 initially - in late 92/early 93 that changed to just "Supernatural". The CL series Callaways got their addl. pwr. from stoking the engine to 383 cubic inches (from 350) and included revised heads / intake / cam/ exhaust.

CL series "SNATS" were avail in SNAT 400, 425, 435, and 450 hp levels (as evolution progressed on these cars ) They were built on 92-96 chassis as the 91 and earlier cars were the RPO B2K Twin Turbo Callaways

There were also the CL series SNATS based upon the LT5 and were avail in 475 & 490 hp ratings.

In addition to the basic (if that is really the right term for these machines) SNATS, you could add wheel packages, different exhaust / headers, and the Aerobody.

26k is a decent starting point , BTW - esp. w/ the low miles. Let us know how it works out :)

Hope this helps - If you care to read more on these awesome cars - check out the links in the factory page at http://www.callawaycars.com
